About Us
Surf Stash was founded by Lawrence Stevenson, a long-term recreational surfboard user who swears he’s not addicted :))
“Having done my fair share of travelling to surf destinations, I always found myself stuck between either paying ridiculous airline fees to transport my boards and freaking out about baggage handlers or taking my chances that I would find a decent, reasonably priced surfboard to rent when I got there. And I figured there’s got to be a way to make my favourite natural high more accessible”

By working with Portuguese shapers to develop high quality surfboards shaped for local waves, and by keeping our business solely online, rather than having a surfboard rental shop, we are able to pass the savings on to you.
